Social Economy Organisations
In accordance with the Experience’s Co-operative Principles, the MONDRAGON Corporation actively collaborates with co-operative and Social Economy organisations in different geographical areas, in the Basque Country as well as, Spain, Europe and the rest of the world. Various contacts and links have been established in this regard involving many sectorial and/or territorial organisations.
Basically, KONFEKOOP in the Basque Country, CEPES in Spain and CO-OPERATIVES EUROPE and SOCIAL ECONOMY EUROPE in the rest of the European Union.
MONDRAGON is also a founder-member of the European Association of Co-operative Groups (ECG) and many co-operative and social economy organisations of a sectorial nature (workers, consumer, credit, education,...)
It also works closely with the International Co-operative Alliance and world co-operative organisations of a sectorial nature.
The relationship with co-operative and social economy organisations is of mutual interest to those organisations and MONDRAGON, irrespective of any operational collaboration of a different type, and focuses mainly on the field of relations with Government and promoting the co-operative movement, areas in which both MONDRAGON and these organisations share the same values and goals.
