Caja Laboral posts a net profit of 56.5 million euros for 2009

Caja Laboral’s profit after tax for 2009 came to 56.5 million euros, which is 43.8% down on the figure posted in 2008. The profit from recurring business before transfers rose by 22.8% and the institution, by means of applying prudential criteria, doubled its provisions in spite of the containment of default, which was at 2.90%, a figure clearly below the average for the sector.

Caja Laboral’s profit before tax has risen in the first nine months of 2007 to 159.4 million euros, which is 24.3% higher than the figure posted last year. After tax the figure comes to 140.1 million euros.

Caja Laboral’s profit before tax for the first half of 2007 comes to 105.4 million euros, which is 21.5% up on the figure recorded last year. The after tax profit totals 92.6 million euros.

Coinciding with its 25th anniversary, Seguros Lagun Aro increases its profits before tax in 2006 by 15%, posting a total of 23.67 million euros.

Caja Laboral posted a profit of 176 million euros in 2006 and plans to exceed 200 million in 2007, with a high rate of customer satisfaction.

Caja Laboral saw its commercial activity develop strongly in 2006, leading to an increase in profits of more than 17%, with a total profit before tax of 176 million euros. For 2007 the forecast is for a profit of more than 200 million euros. The workforce increased by 307 people, of which 254 were in the areas targeted for expansion.
