IMQ and MONDRAGON Health sign an agreement to promote research into the field of health and health services

IMQ - MONDRAGON HealthThe IMQ Group and MONDRAGON Health have signed a collaboration agreement to promote R&R&i in the fields of science and technology applicable to the health sector, by means of carrying out research projects and innovation programmes in processes and services.

The agreement, which will last for one year, also contemplates collaboration in the training field between the IMQ Group and the University of Mondragon.

The agreement was signed today Thursday at the headquarters of IMQ in Bilbao by the Managing Director of IMQ, Jose Andrés Gorricho, and the MONDRAGON Corporation’s Vice-president for Innovation, Promotion and Knowledge, Javier Sotil.

Areas of development

The agreement establishes the general areas of collaboration and will start with a number of already decided projects.

It will be MONDRAGON’s companies and researchers and the consultants and managers of IMQ and its services, who will prioritise new areas for possible developments in the future.Initially these areas will be Hospital Logistics, Automated systems for storing and dispensing medicines in hospital pharmacies and Telemonitoring of chronic patients.
