To be precise, in Maryland a building is being fitted out on the front line of the port in National Harbor, a newly created town. In the case of Washington D.C. it is the Iridium project, involving luxury apartment s on the centrally located Pennsylvania Avenue.

Fagor has developed special products for the two projects in order to adapt to the requirements of the US market. An example of which would be the wooden doors with incrusted metal rods, in addition to special sizes and modules to take the larger sized domestic appliances.

According to Leire Agirrebeña, Export Manager at Fagor Mueble, “the start up of these two projects is a big challenge for Fagor Mueble and a good way to break into the US market, in the certainty that we will have continuing success there”.
