URSSA to supply steel structures for Ground Zero in New York

Collaboration Agreement between MONDRAGON and the North American Trade Union USW

The North American trade union United Steelworkers (USW) and the MONDRAGON Corporation have signed a collaboration agreement. The two organisations will work together to promote industrial co-operates that base their principles and operation on the MONDRAGON model, characterised by the fact that it is the members who are the owners of the co-operative and the basic principle of “one person, one vote”.

Orona´s Innovation and Development Park

The extension of the Miramón Technology Park in San Sebastián, promoted by Orona, will create a surface area of 108,000 m2 available to be built on in the Galarreta area where, together with other innovative activities, Orona’s Innovation and Development Park, an Ikerlan centre and a new University of MONDRAGON building will be located. These three co-operatives are part of the MONDRAGON Corporation.

Inauguration of Danobat Railway Systems and presentation of the most advanced line in the world for manufacturing assembled railway axles

At a ceremony presided over by the Basque Prime Minister Patxi López, the new Danobat Railway Systems (DRS) building was inaugurated today in Bergara and the most advanced line in the world for manufacturing assembled railway axles was presented, which cost 63 million euros and is for the Russian firm TVSZ in Saint Petersburg, one of the biggest goods wagon producers in Russia.
 

Kide opens its plant in India

The Kide co-operative, with its headquarters in Berriatua in the province of Bizkaia and part of MONDRAGON, yesterday inaugurated its subsidiary in India “RCS KIDE PVTY”, located in Pune, in the state of Maharashtra, the capital of which is the dynamic city of Mumbai.
