Offer description
Manage and oversee all financial operations and human resources functions within the company. Responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, tax compliance, inventory control, and payroll, while also managing HR responsibilities such as employee benefits, compliance, and sensitive personnel matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting operations for the Italian subsidiary, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and tax compliance; ensure and monitor the accuracy of individual balances reflected in the various accounts that make up the financial statements.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with Italian accounting principles and company policies.
- Oversee and manage inventory control (including semi-annual and annual physical inventories), job costing, receivables and collections.
- Coordinate with and provide internal and external auditors with all documentation and information required to support audits and reviews.
- Responsible for budget preparation, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Tax declarations: Prepare and submit VAT declarations and Review and coordinate income tax returns prepared by external entities.
Risk and Compliance:
- and manage general liability insurance, as well as all other company insurance policies, , and employee benefits.
- Ensure compliance with local and national financial and HR regulations.
Human Resources:
- Manage and process payroll. Administer health insurance, social security contributions, and pension plans.
- Act as the company’s HR manager, handling confidential employee matters in collaboration with external consultants and management.
- Oversee HR documentation, benefits administration, and compliance with hiring policies.
- Collaborate with legal counsel and headquarters on employee-related legal matters, as required.
Requirements
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, including a minimum of 4 years in general administration and/or human resources.
- Excellent knowledge of financial reporting and budgeting principles.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (SAP) and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Good knowledge of Italian income tax filing requirements.
- Experience in inventory management and costing.
- Familiarity with HR laws and practices; experience managing employee benefits and compliance processes.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of Spanish and/or English.
- Experience working in international, multi-site environments is a plus.
