Sheet Metal and Die Industrial Process Technician

At Onnera Group S. Coop. we are looking to incorporate a Industrial Process Technician specialized in sheet metal and dies to strengthen our team at the Oñati plant.

The selected person will actively participate in projects of industrialization, optimization of production processes, and acquisition of dies, within the framework of the objectives of the manufacturing area.

Main functions

• Collaborate in the execution of industrialization plans on the sheet metal line and lead the implementation of new processes.
• Propose and manage investments in machinery for continuous productivity improvement on the sheet metal line.
• Manage suppliers and coordinate with maintenance and manufacturing for the implementation of new solutions.
• Analyze and propose improvements in plant layout (layout) and processes to optimize time and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, occupational risk prevention, and ergonomics requirements, defining the technical documentation associated with each process.
• Be the link between the sheet metal and assembly areas to resolve quality incidents and analyze internal causes.
• Define jointly with the R&D area the needs for new dies and participate in their design.
• Request die budgets, evaluate proposals, and award their manufacture.

Requirements

Requirements

• Technical training in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical, Manufacturing or similar.
• Previous experience in industrial environments related to sheet metal and die processes.
• Knowledge of sheet metal forming machinery, industrial layouts, and die design.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and quality, environmental, and safety standards.
• Capacity to work in a team and coordinate with different areas (production, maintenance, suppliers…).

Valued

• Experience in industrialization and continuous improvement projects (Lean, Kaizen…).
• Knowledge of CAD tools and technical design software.
• Technical English (intermediate level).
• Results orientation and process improvement.
