We're looking for an experienced Territory Sales Manager to drive growth across the Midwest region by developing new business opportunities and strengthening relationships with customers, OEMs, machine builders, distributors, and system integrators.
What You'll Do
- Drive sales growth and market penetration for Fagor Automation's CNC solutions throughout the Midwest territory.
- Develop new business opportunities and build a strong pipeline of prospects.
- Manage and expand relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities for additional business.
- Engage with OEMs, machine tool builders, distributors, system integrators, and end users.
- Understand customer challenges and recommend solutions that add value to their operations.
- Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and commercial proposals.
- Travel throughout the Midwest region (approximately 60-70%) to visit customers, prospects, industry events, and trade shows.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, technical support, customer service, and marketing teams.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and customer information within CRM systems.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $90,000 – $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Eligible for a commission/incentive plan; details will be shared during the hiring process.

Requirements
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of sales experience in CNC systems, machine tools, industrial automation, motion control, or related technologies.
- Proven success developing new business and growing sales within an assigned territory.
- Strong hunter mentality with a demonstrated ability to identify, pursue, and win new opportunities.
- Existing network and industry contacts within manufacturing, machine tool, or automation sectors is desirable.
- Ability to engage effectively with technical specialists, engineers, operations leaders, and executive decision-makers.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely while managing a large geographic territory.
- Ability to travel regularly throughout the territory (approximately 60-70%), including overnight travel.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
- Technical understanding of CNC controls, machine tools, industrial automation, drives, motors, encoders, or related technologies.
- Experience working with OEMs, distributors, integrators, and end users.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and standard business software tools.
